October 11th Inklings Prompt

Hello!
This past Monday, Oct. 11th, was my birthday, and I also led the Inkings prompt.

This prompt was based off of a poet named Anne Sexton, who She won the Pulitzer Prize for poetry in 1967.

Anne did a poetry project in which she read her horoscope daily and then selected a portion of it to use as an epigraph. An epigraph is generally a borrowed phrase that you put at the begining of a work of literature that gives sort of a lens to view the book, chapter, essay or poem. It can do a lot of work for a poem, including being a great jumping off place.

Soooooo... Click on the link, read your horoscope, be inspired and write a poem! And play with it! If you're horoscope and you totally aren't clicking, try seeing what the other ones are. Just go for something that triggers your brain.

PS. I'm not really endorsing making any major decisions based off of horoscopes-- I just think they are kind of fun.

Best of Luck!
Leah
